We raised money through donations in March 2023 to cover free drinks and pastries for MSU staff and students. We also received donations for missed staff tips during an unexpected shop closure.

We raised a total of $1403 to help cover two full days of free drinks and pastries for MSU students and staff.
The cost of our donations from 3/14-3/15: $3,207.55

Tips received during closure
We received a total of $1603.75 in Venmo tip jar donations to help cover staff tips during our unexpected closure. For more on why we closed temporarily: Lansing State Journal Article.
The $1603.75 was split between all 20 of our employees evenly. The tips were paid out via bi-weekly payroll to all staff. Everyone received $80.18 each.
