About

Do more of what matters

For us that’s pouring over the details. Getting every cup right. Being a place where people feel at home. And making Lansing’s best froggy-eyed doughnuts.

It’s a weirdly delicious blend, and it works.

Strange Matter is a coffee person’s cafe where every mug fuels something good. Good work. Good art. Good music. Good hangs. It’s where you can try a new drink, or love an old one. Spend an hour or an afternoon. It’s yours as much as it is ours.

But for us, Strange Matter is a place where friends and neighbors can come together over a cup, and head out into the world a little more caffeinated and inspired. Drink up. Then do something that fills your cup.
