Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

We want you to love what you buy from Strange Matter Coffee. If something isn’t right, we’re happy to help.

Non-returnable items

The following items cannot be returned:
• Opened bags of coffee
• Gift cards (physical or digital)

Physical and digital gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.

 

Coffee (Bags of Beans)

Because coffee is a food product, we cannot accept returns on opened bags. If your coffee arrives damaged, incorrect, or if there is a quality issue, please contact us within 7 days of delivery or purchase and we’ll gladly replace it or help make it right.

If you accidentally ordered the wrong coffee and the bag is unopened, reach out within 7 days and we may be able to exchange it.

 

Brewing Equipment

Brewing equipment can be returned within 30 days of purchase if it is unused and in its original packaging.

If a product is defective, please contact us and we will repair, replace, or direct you to the manufacturer’s warranty if applicable.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

 

Apparel & Merchandise

T-shirts, hats, magnets, and other merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase if the item is unused and in original condition. Proof of purchase receipt is required.

For apparel exchanges (such as size changes), customers are responsible for return shipping.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days and include your order number and photos if possible. We’ll make it right.

 

In-Store Purchases

Items purchased in our cafés may be returned according to the same guidelines above. Please bring your receipt if possible. If you don’t have a receipt but paid by credit card, we can find your receipt if you provide the last 4 digits of the card used.
